I love this 'Blue Magnolia' painting by Laura Gunn. Wish I could afford to commission her! 

Instead I'll just be content purchasing her fabrics which are just as beautiful. I do have this fabric of hers covering a huge canvas on my wall, much more affordable!

first pressie finished

there is a long list off christmas presents to make, but this is the first ticked off... an "end of year appreciation gift" for my little sparrow's school teacher. The class studied the book earlier in the year so I hope she will love to decorate her classroom with some matching bunting!!

the end of a long week..

it's been a long week here, and I don't think the next is much quieter! The markets today were busy and it's been still busier here tonight with more stock heading out via facebook. If you're a user you can head over to this album and see if there's any bargains left.

Does anyone else have a little person who begs for pumpkin soup? We do, so saturday night was pumpkin soup night, and we had one very happy little man who said "Mum, you are the best cook in the world!

ins and outs

I'm sure my local parcel postie doesn't think I do anything but purchase, as he drops off a parcel of supplies here most days.. but there are actually quite a few things heading out these last few weeks, almost more than I can keep up with. Must be the silly season!

new fabric

I just saw a pic of the new range from Patty Young, due out in December. Now does it look like my colours or what??? I feel some new cushions covers might be in order!
